In this lesson we'll use a Johnny Winter style blues riff in the context of a 12 bar blues in G. Once you get the boogie woogie rhythm going on, tossing that riff in really cranks things up a notch!

Colin,
Loved this lesson rendition on very old Rock n Roll tune. Loved to hear more from that era. Thanks
Good Lesson: Like that rhythm. Following your video with my new Limited Edition Gretsch G-6229TG Turquoise Sparkle Jet was refreshing. Changed effect pedals several times and ended up using a Danelectro “Cash Cow” OD thru a TC Electronics X4 Echo set on “Slap-back” into a Fender SuperChamp set on “Tweed Amp” with Reverb. Sounds like a long route just to get back to basics, but it sounded & felt good. Still much into the Boogie-Woogie & Rockabilly stuff…a little Surf helps too. Will be watching for more.
